I love getting inspired to work out and spend time nourishing my body with exercise and good food. And nothing gets me to that place where I want to do those things more than a huge focus on how it will feel to have an amazingly healthy and powerful body!
A notorious time-waster for me (come on, I can’t be the only one who spends hours trawling through others’ accounts, wishing I was as fashionable/pretty/fit/happy/<insert other> as they appear to be on their feed); despite efforts to reduce my usage of the app, I all-too-often end up there just to relax and enjoy seeing what’s up in the world (although only emerge hours later realizing I’ve done nothing that I wanted to do that day).
Anyway, I’m happy to report that today, my usual pointless Instagram stalking somehow turned into an extremely useful and nice inspiration lesson instead. Result? Now I’m super pumped to work out my booty later due to some awesome body transformations that I’ve seen.
I hope these can be just as motivating to you as I found them, so I’ll just pepper them throughout this post! Here are 7 Instagram butt transformations that I hope you find inspiring!
#1. Destiny Elizabeth Stephens
This 22 year old attests to diet being the biggest changing factor, and she’s not the only one who says so! Her booty transformation is undeniable, and you can see that she started slow into this journey of gym and fitness.
So here it is!! My progress pictures. I’m not one to usually do transformation pictures but I think it’s very important for myself and others to see that with patience’s, hard work and consistency you can achieve anything. No surgery or injections!!! The pic on the left is actually me believe it or not! I was 15! This is when I first started going to the gym! I honestly can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years since I’ve started my journey! It started off by going to the gym a couple days a week, and learning how to use the machines and trying different exercises. I wasn’t following any meals plans, I ate whatever I want but I was starting slow by going to the gym! (first 3 years) then the past 2 years it has became my whole entire lifestyle. I am now a competitor, coach and I now know all the muscles, how to target them, how to transform my body the way I want, I know how to properly diet and I go to the gym 1-2 a day, 6-7 days a week. I’m still learning every single day how to better myself and help others! I can’t stress it enough how consistency and patience is key. I too wanted my body to change over night but that’s just not realistic. Start somewhere and trust the process, it will happen I promise! Another thing I’ve learned is how important diet is. I hit a point where i was working out everyday and eating what I want and wasn’t seeing the results I was looking for… until I changed my diet, within a couple months I was seeing amazing results! The easiest way to shortcut this and cut out a lot of time wasting is simple: it’s to FOCUS.

Why It’s Impossible To Fail
All of the transformations that I saw have one thing in common: consistency.
Here’s the thing:
It’s impossible to fail if you don’t give up. But the moment that you do give up? That’s when failure can happen.
I’m not saying you can’t ever take a break from things, but just never give up completely, and you can’t fail.
Seriously, if you keep at something for long enough, you’ll eventually get there.

Love this girl because she does not care about numbers on a scale with her hash tag #gainingweightiscool. Truth is, if you want to go for booty gains, you need to add weight to your body (this may be an issue for some if you are too focused on those numbers on the scale, if it is, you definitely need to address that first!).
The picture on the left popped up from my timehop three years ago so you know I had to hit y’all with a #transformation and a #gainingweightiscool because I gained at least 20 pounds between photos. This didn’t happen from plyos, bands, or dieting. This happened from deadlifting, squatting, lifting heavy, eating a lot, and being patient. I am definitely not the most consistent person around (hello bipolar depression and Gemini rising 👋) so I truly mean it when I say if I can achieve results — SO CAN YOU. Speaking of weight gain being scary, this instagrammer says she struggles with exactly that issue, but she’s still pushing through and might I add, has an awesome looking butt!
• It just takes time to be the best version of yourself. 🌺 It takes time to understand that depriving yourself is not ok. Undereating is not ok. Being mean with yourself is not ok, and if there’s someone around you who makes you believe the opposite just go away. There’s always a point where you believe you’re alone, that nobody understands you, that you’re the only one who’s feeling that way: well this is not the truth. Find someone to talk with, someone who believes in what you are and in every single success you reach. This is essential. Well I gained like 12 kg between these pictures, I’m actually living at my highest weight ever and this somehow still scares that deep part of my mind. #transformation You CAN GROW YOUR GLUTES! First picture is January 2016 -> second is December 2016. Almost a year with tons of food, weights and rest!! FOOD- Trying to grow any part of your body isn't going to be possible if you aren't fuelling your body right! Eating in a surplus (more than your body is burning) for the passed year (+40-50lbs) has been super important for reaching my goals! TRAINING- Hypetrophy glute training!! Some of my favourite exercises are hip thrusts, walking lunges, cable kickbacks and split squats! Training them all in the 8-12rep range, ideal for building muscle. If you can walk after, kill your glutes harder 😉 REST- Your body doesn't grown when you're training, it grows when your body is recovering from your workouts!
