Hi everyone, Jolene here and I’m on a mission to build the perfect butt.

While I am half-joking here (come on, that’s a laughable first liner for an introduction!), it is a goal that I’ve experimented on and off with over the years – ever since my boyfriend gave me some random compliments on my butt.

I’m not gonna lie – it felt kind of good. I couldn’t help but think to myself, “How can I make my butt look even better so he’s totally hooked?“. Weird motivation, I know. But what can I say, compliments and being viewed as awesomely hot to someone else can be quite the motivator, lol.

That’s what I aim to inspire you too as well – building the best butt you possibly can.

I’ve always been interested in health and fitness and have recently been experimenting with bodybuilding, and along with it, the diet changes that are required to put on muscle.

So I thought I could apply this to building the perfect butt. And so BetterButtChallenge.com was born. It’s just a little side project intended to be a bit of fun, so any subsequent bun sculpting, butt lifting and/or booty firming that occurs as a result is just an added bonus!

So to all of you out there who want a better butt – I say, join me on my quest! I’ll be sure to keep posting the best exercises and information, and blogging regularly about my crazy ideas/experiments to help make your booty make the envy of women over, and get the guys saying “Daaayamn, dat ass!”

I created this site in around 2013 when there was not much information at all online about how to build a good butt. The only exercise recommendation in sight was “squats”, and no, there were barely any youtube videos on butt-focused exercises and workout routines.

Fast forward to today, where there are soooo many booty-building resources online, and for free too! What a world we live in.

I’m always happy to hear the thoughts of others on healthy living and crafting our bodies into the best they can be, so if you want to connect with me please do keep in touch by leaving a comment below.

Thanks for dropping by and I wish you all the best with your butt building journey!  🙂

Love,

    Hello Jolene,
I like the topic of your website and the way you write with a little funny undertone.
I find you website(post) very informational and instructive at the same time.
If I had butt problems ;-), I would definitely follow the instructions or recommend it to those that might have that problem.
    Kind regards,

    Gregory

Lots of information regarding working the glutes. I am an active male who has recently run into a lot of hip problems that from most of my research is due to inactive glutes over most of my life. I do weightlift and run but realize I wasn’t really working my glutes as I should of been. I came across the site due to your detailed explanation of resistance bands which was awesome, and I realize while looking through a lot of the site that most of it is regarding female aesthetic purposes, but I would highlight more the practical value of specific glute training as well. Just my two cents ! :).

Thanks for sharing Matt! I find your comment most interesting, as it really highlights that despite being active, it is possible to still not be using your glutes correctly.

Out of interest, may I ask what kind of hip problem/symptoms you experienced that made you aware of the issue? And have you been able to gain a more active control of your glute muscles since then? If so, what helped you the most?

I actually found in my own experience that I had very poor mind-muscle connection with my glutes (without even realizing it) up until a few months after I started this site and started focusing more on butt exercises. Then all of a sudden one day I just figured out how to activate my glute muscles just that little bit more, and as if by magic, started feeling exercises like squats in my butt rather than my quads. It’s strange because it’s hard to describe when exactly the shift happened. I have found that visualizing the muscles working actually has some scientific basis in creating muscle contractions as well though.

I do intend on writing more about this aspect of butts (lol), as I think it is extremely common and important to fix before it causes injuries! Thanks heaps for your suggestion.

Hi! If I may ??? mention something for hip problems or other issues . . . Pete Egoscue Method. Life saver for me. Excited about building a better butt for myself, thank you! 🙂

Hi Dequa, Thanks for the tip! Yes, I have had some limited experience with the Pete Egoscue method too (was following it for a while but unfortunately got sidetracked and never got back in to it). I must say I love the theory behind it, basically it talks about aligning your body and correcting any muscular imbalances etc for anyone who is unaware. That’s excellent to hear it has worked for you, many people speak highly of it! I might have to give it another review now that you’ve reminded me about it!

Thanks, Jolie! My “excuse” for never ever building a butt was knee pain. Skipping details, it was a severe shoulder issue that led me to doing Egoscue. I was surprised & delighted that my knee & hip pain subsided, too, along with good posture feeling easy to maintain. So now . . . it is time to get the butt of my life! Appreciate you and all the energy & info you share. Take best care!

Love the enthusiasm Dequa, it is always welcome here lol! I have a bit of a temperamental knee as well, so I can totally relate to it hindering progress in the butt building department. Actually thank you for mentioning this, as I’ve been meaning to post about what butt exercises I’ve found that happen to be easy on the knees (in my experience) – your comment is a timely reminder to actually get around to writing it!
