I stumbled upon a new program called My Bikini Butt earlier this week, and I’m interested in checking it out (not really any surprises there, if you know anything about me, you’ll know that if there’s something that claims to get you a better butt then I’ll be all over it like a fat kid on cake!). So I found myself wondering: what is ‘My Bikini Butt’ all about, anyway? Lately I’ve been starting to see ads for it splashed all over the internet (in fact I think that’s how I came across it in the first place!), so I decided to do a bit more digging.
In this post I’ll be covering what this program actually is, who it’s targeted at and give you a general overview of what I’ve found out about this product so far.
My Bikini Butt by Andrea Albright
If the name caught your eye (hey, summer is coming, and you know that means less forgiving clothing!), then I assume you are one to enjoy wearing a bikini. I also would imagine that if this is the case, you’re interested in having your butt look good in that bikini, or you wouldn’t be on this site which (lets face it) is all about butts.
My first impressions of the program based on the name was that this would be something that is going to get you an awesome looking butt, that will look killer in a bikini bottom. Which is not an easy task to pull off, if you’ve ever been bikini shopping and had some rather uncomfortable moments in the try-on changerooms when you come to the realization that your butt is not as nice and perky as it used to be (yes, I am speaking from personal experience, heh).
So needless to say, I was keen to check this one out further.
What is it?
My Bikini Butt is a online product and claims to teach you a system that will show you how to get a bikini body through diet and exercise. Which is right up my alley because it’s not some gimmicky supplement, surgery, pill or gadget – instead, it teaches you scientifically based principles that take advantage of how your body works naturally.
The program is a home-exercise program that is supposed to get you a better butt and body, one which is totally fit for showcasing your favorite bikini.
Who is it For?
This system is targeted at any women who seem to constantly struggle with excess weight around your hips, legs and butt (hello? That’s probably around 80-90% of women!), or just having that unwanted fat on your body in general. Here are the author’s before and after pics; absolutely amazing!
It doesn’t appear to be targeted towards getting a bigger butt, but at the same time, you aren’t going to lose your butt when you lose weight if you follow this program. I think its aimed more towards those who might class themselves as wanting a smaller butt, and just wanting to get in shape in general.
How Does it Work?
After doing a bit more research, I found out that the My Bikini Butt program is all about activating your so-called “SlimZymes” – these are fat-burning enzymes that are supposed to help burn fat faster when you follow a healthy diet and exercise program.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the My Bikini Butt program is based on the following principles:
The creator, Andrea Albright, has done a lot of research into scientific studies and come up with her own system that prescribes particular eating, breathing and moving in such a way that it specifically stimulates your body to produce SlimZymes faster and in greater amounts. The result – your body burns fat much faster, without you even having to think about it!
May Not be Suitable for ‘the Lucky Ones’
If you’re one of the lucky girls out there who don’t have any problems with excess weight on your body, but you’re looking for something to enhance the size and shape your butt and make it bigger, the My Bikini Butt program is probably not for you – try something like Gluteus to the Maximus, Strong Curves, or Bigger Better Butt.
Why I Like What I See So Far
After my initial research into what this program was all about, I’m interested to give it a shot. You seem to get a fair amount of value for money on this one, as it’s only $47 USD, AND comes with a whole heap of bonuses as well.
Why do I like it? First of all, I must confess that I’m actually pretty skinny and haven’t really struggled with overall excess weight before. But unfortunately, like most women, I’m starting to see some unwanted fat on my thighs and butt, and I’m very interested in getting rid of it! Plus, who doesn’t want to have a great-looking bikini butt? 😛
I like the fact that this program can be done at home, seems simple, and is backed by science. There are 21 good-quality sources (actual published scientific studies, not just random links to websites) that are listed on the My Bikini Butt homepage, that all back up the information which is presented and what the system is based on, so there’s a good chance that it actually works.

I may be placing an order soon, so stay tuned for more insights into this program, plus an official review sometime down the road. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes!

Awesome post Jolie. I like that you are keeping people motivated to get to their sought after body shape, and help people stay healthy doing it. Keep up the good work!
Hi Liam, thanks for your kind words! I very much appreciate the feedback 🙂
Hey, I’ve been seeing this advertised quite a bit as well. Hmph what are they trying to say to me?!
It would be great if you do end up trying it out and if it’s good. I don’t know how I would convince a certain lady friend about it, but I have got her on to your site to read a little 😉
No worries Vince, send the referrals through! I’ve been a bit busy lately, but I’m pretty sure I will be reviewing this in the near future!
Impressive review! I love seeing this kind of thing backed up by actual science – that’s always a good sign. I’m like you though, lucky to not have too much of an issue with unwanted fat. I’ll have to check out some of the other programs you mentioned since I’m more inclined to work toward a bigger butt myself. Great post as always! ^^
This is a brilliant review Jolie, I must admit when I read the first few lines I was hoping it wouldn’t be another cliche/gimmick type of weight loss program. However, based on your findings it seems be a contrast. I love that it focuses on diet and nutrition along with physical exercise.
Hi Charlene, yes it is refreshing! I’m still working my way through the material, you get absolutely heaps of it from this one. Will be sure to port a more detailed review at a later date!
What exercises can you do to get rid of the banana roll under the butt cheeks. I have struggled to get rid of this pocket of fat for so long and cant seem to shift it. Any ideas?
I’m not 100% sure what you mean by ‘banana roll’ but from the name I’m assuming you might be referring to pockets of fat that are shaped like a smile or banana at the bottom of your butt cheeks. (I’m guessing it might be caused or exacerbated by the leg-holes of tight-fitting underwear – does the roll form underneath this part towards the bottom of your butt like I’ve described?). In this case seamless underwear or shapewear might help, it sounds like what you’re describing might be an extreme case of VPL.
This is a tricky one because it might unfortunately come down to your genetics and just where you as an individual tend to store fat. As far as I know it’s not possible to spot-reduce fat from a particular area. However, we can still try and fight it! I think building up your butt muscles in size might help, purely because the extra muscle will help to fill out your butt and also ‘tighten’ everything up in that area.
Weighted glute bridges are my favorite at the moment for this (make sure you only start to add weight once you can feel your glutes doing the work)! Also try the Squat-Arabesque to target the bottom part of your butt where I think the banana roll that you’re referring to might be. Cardio to try and drop any extra weight you might be carrying could also help.
I hope that helps Sandy, but please let me know if I misinterpreted your question in any way!
