Bigger Better Butt is a product that has been around for a little while, and may get some interest from those looking to get a bigger butt naturally.
Hmm… An interesting proposition!
In this review you’ll find out: what is the Bigger Better Butt program like, how it works, and what you can expect if you buy this product.
Bigger Better Butt: Product Overview
Author: Steve Adams
Available at: Online from biggerbetterbutt.com
Price: USD $39.95
My Overall Ranking: 4/10
Bigger Better Butt is a downloadable digital ebook which outlines how you can build a bigger butt through the right kind of exercises.
The 60 day exercise program prescribes 9 weeks worth of workouts, where you are working out 4 days of the week.
The beauty of this program is in its simplicity – there are only four exercises to learn, and the workouts follow the same format each week (more on this later). In short, this means you can focus fully on working your glutes out to the max, rather than trying to learn all sorts of complicated moves.
There’s not much information on nutrition in the Bigger Better Butt program, but it does come with a bonus ebook called “7 Tactics to Eat What You Want and Still Lose Weight” which talks a little bit about nutrition. However it doesn’t look like it’s specifically written to help with the whole Bigger Butt agenda which is a little bit of a shame.
4 Exercises To Build A Bigger Butt
I like this program because it is all about increasing the size of your butt through healthy exercise. (For those of you who know me, you’ll be able to pick straight away that this is perfectly up my alley!)
The main premise is that you only really need to learn 4 exercises to add bulk to your butt muscles. This is a great strategy because it means you can really take the time to master these few moves, rather than learning many new moves and not necessarily doing them all with perfect form.
What You Get:
Bigger Better Butt is a digital ebook product that can be instantly downloaded after purchase. Here’s what’s included in the package:
- Bigger Better Butt Program Guide (21 pages)
- 30 min Skype consultation session with a certified trainer
- 7 Tactics to Eat What You Want and Still Lose Weight ebook (8 pages)
This is a short program that can easily be digested in one sitting, but it’s all good, quality information and is straight to-the-point.
The extra skype session is excellent value, as you get 1-on-1 time with Steve, which is essentially just like having your own personal trainer. He also gives you the option to break this up into two 15 minute consultations, which I think is great! I would be using mine to discuss any questions in the first session and then come back to review my progress with Steve in the second one a few weeks later.
About the Author
Bigger Better Butt program has been developed by Steve Adams, who has a diverse background wearing many hats: certified trainer, coach, athlete, fitness competitor.
He initially created this program as a training guide for his clients, but found it so popular that he thought he’d make it available for all.
I had a few questions about the program which I asked Steve and found him very prompt, professional and thorough in his responses. He definitely seems like a great guy and seems to know his stuff.
The Good and the Bad
- This program has one main focus: building a butt. Perfectly specialized. Love it!
- There are only four exercises to learn, meaning you can really master them for full effectiveness
- 1-on-1 skype session with the author gives you time to ask any questions and perfect your form
- Challenging weights/repetitions means this program will give you results
- Not much in the way of nutritional information that goes with the program
- It can be difficult to select your starting weight if you’ve never done much with weights before
- Difficult to work out at home, unless you have weights/equipment you might need to sign up for a gym
- Some aspects of the program were not fully explained, for example huge repetitions on each set
Who Is Bigger Better Butt For?
This product is for anyone who wants to get a bigger butt, and is willing to work their butt off in the process! The program and guide that you get is short but to the point. The author himself has said that it is designed to be this way, so that you get a no-nonsense guide and are just left with what works.
Personally, I love getting into the nitty-gritty detail so would prefer a more detailed book, but this approach also has its upsides! For instance, you can get started with the program straight away as it won’t take long to read through the ‘theory’ material.
Steve includes video links to how to perform each exercise. There are four exercises which he recommends – and claims as the only four exercises you will need to build your butt. I would agree that the exercises he has selected are extremely effective and will help you to build your glute muscles as fast as possible.
The exercise program you get here is most suited to those who are willing to commit to working hard and are willing to work on using heavy weights. This would be ideal if you have access to a gym or even if you have a home gym setup with available weights. If you can’t access these then you won’t benefit as much from the program since it’s designed to really push you in terms of resistance and gaining muscle.
Another great point to note is that you get a free included skype call training session with Steve, which is a great opportunity to ask any questions or clarify any of the program content face to face. I’d recommend to use this after you have started the program, so you can address any questions which may have come up during this process.
There are 9 weeks worth of workouts provided in the 60 day program. You will workout 4 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (or you can shift these to fit with your schedule).
The good thing about this workout program is that there are only 2 exercises per workout, which keeps it nice and simple. There are usually single sets of high amounts of reps prescribed, which is different, to say the least! I think this must be the secret behind this program.
The workouts also seem to stay much the same from week to week, you just need to increase either weight or reps as specified. This is a good thing as it means you spend less time on trying to learn new moves, and more time on perfecting the prescribed exercises to get the most out of them.
One part that I struggled with was trying to work out starting weight and how much to increase weight by. This is where your skype sessions with Steve are ideal, as you can take these questions directly to him to get some personalized guidance.
Be warned – these workouts are not for the faint-hearted! They are really tough. Basically if you aren’t needing to push yourself mentally and physically, then you’re not doing them right.
The program will have you working out 4 times a week, doing 2 exercises per workout. You get a rest day mid week, and the weekend off to allow your body to recover and muscles to build.
There’s no real time specified that it takes to do the workouts, but from my experience, I needed to set aside about 10-20 minutes for each workout by the time I included warming up etc. You are supposed to do the two exercises back to back with minimal rest time, so they are really challenging!
You will need to use weights for this program, and that includes a barbell, bench or platform, and probably barbell rack. I found that I didn’t just have the equipment laying around at home for this one, unfortunately. I think most people would probably need to have a gym membership or access to free-weights (with a barbell focus) to take full advantage of this program, because if you are doing it right you will need to use heavy weights.
You could potentially use a weighted workout bar, but given that you need to be increasing weights each week, it’s a lot easier to have a gym membership and access to all the equipment and weight plates that you need.
Unfortunately there’s no real nutrition guide included with this program, other than the bonus 7 tactics to eat what you want and still lose weight ebook. In my opinion this is not designed to work all that well with the bigger better butt program, because if you are training hard to put on muscle, you should be eating enough to fuel your body to build muscle as well.
However, I think you can still benefit from the program by just following some general rules for eating when weightlifting. Be sure you are getting enough calories, eat relatively healthy (avoiding overly processed foods and junk food), and get enough protein.
Bigger Better Butt Support
I’d have to rate the support on the Bigger Better Butt program as pretty good! I love how Steve includes a one-on-one skype session in this package. It gives you the unique opportunity to really drill down on any questions that you might have about the program, or even get his advice on your form doing the exercises (if you wanted to use video during your skype call).
You can also split up your skype session into two 15 minute calls if you want to get advice on two separate occasions.
In my dealings with Steve, I had a few questions about the program which he answered really thoroughly via email, so you know the support is there and that Steve is very genuine in his customer support.
The Bigger Better Butt program sells for $39.95 and comes with a 60 day money-back guarantee if you decide it is not for you.
In my opinion it does seem a little pricey as the program book is short, but you definitely do get a specialized and very specific butt workout program which has been developed by a personal trainer.
The skype call adds a lot of extra value, especially since it’s a 1-on-1 session with a personal trainer. When you factor this in, the price seems fair, especially since consulting with personal trainers in real life is not all that cheap!
You get a 60-day money back guarantee with this product, which means you can essentially try it out risk free if you’re sittting on the fence. The product is sold by Clickbank, which is a globally reputable company, so the money back guarantee on this is definitely legitimate.
There aren’t any upsells in the Bigger Better Butt program, which is a nice break from what seems to be the normal now from other less reputable products out there.
My Final Opinion of the Bigger Better Butt Product
I really like the idea behind this product (love the fact that this program is all about building a bigger butt!), but in my opinion the value for money is not the best. The written guidebook is short, which doesn’t mean it’s not valuable content, but it can make you feel like the value is lacking a little. That being said, you get personal 1-on-1 skype consultation with a certified personal trainer, which is invaluable.
At the end of the day, what you get is a straightforward, highly specific, proven formula for building a bigger, better butt – just what the program says it will do.
