Lately I’ve let some things get in the way of my fitness goals and so I haven’t had much time to keep up with exercise (insert plethora of other excuses here). Sound familiar?

I know this happens to everyone, so I thought it’s about time for some fitspiration to help inspire you and I (but really, mostly ‘I’) to get back into the swing of things when it comes to building that better butt!

Here’s what I’m talking about (how can I get my butt to look more like this, lol!?):

I’m not too sure how I feel about fitspiration in general. If you haven’t heard of ‘fitspiration’ before, it’s time to brush up:

Fitspiration definition

Fitspiration is all about inspiring you to be more fit – that’s cool, and I totally dig on this noble goal!

But sometimes, fitspiration gets taken too far. The kind of fitspiration I don’t dig on, is that which makes you feel bad by getting you to compare yourself and your body to some totally unrealistic goal.

This kind of comparison can make you feel bad, and feeling bad does not equal to good health. Nor does it particularly make you feel inspired to exercise.

So don’t get me wrong here. While today’s post is a heap of shameless images of hot women’s butts (and let’s face it, they probably have been photoshopped to remove any kind of imperfections), I want to be clear – this is not supposed to make anyone feel bad about themselves.

Personally, I know my butt will never look like these women’s, but I still kind of like checking out these pictures. (I hope that does not sound too peverted, lol!)

They do motivate me to strive to achieve the best butt I can, and they motivate me to think about working on my butt through exercise.

I also find them to be a good reminder to be mindful about what my butt looks like, and that I am in full control of the choices I make regarding health and exercise. It helps me to make healthy ones!

After all, that’s what fitspiration is supposed to do.

Time to Get to Work!

Phew, that’s enough for one day I think! Now that you’re probably a little more focused on what your butt looks like, it’s time to get started with some exercise!

If you’re stuck for ideas, a good exercise program to try is the 30 day butt lift challenge – it’s free and doesn’t take much time to complete. Can you build a better butt in 30 days? Take the challenge and let us know how you go!

A ha so girls do like looking at pictures of other girl’s butts too!

Today I’m working out, butt included and will be squeezing them so I feel them after!

    Remember the inspiration 😉

And I too am not a fan of all the trendy terms that appear for fitness (and many things in general) and recently read that in Japan, they don’t find being big and bulky (butts included) attractive.

So it doesn’t necessarily have to be big to be attractive, just so people aren’t fooled by what is shoved in front of us which is mostly unrealistic anyway

Nice to have a bit of perspective hey Vince! I agree that there’s not any one ‘perfect’ butt – it’s more like whatever you feel looks best on yourself and makes you feel good about your body. Do a few extra reps for me!
