While the concept may be unheard of or even foreign to some, it was enough for me to want to check it out, and I’ve since put together this Flavilicious Cooking review so that you can share in the deliciousness that this book has to offer.

No, you won’t be Calorie counting or following a strict, complicated meal plan – instead you simply need to follow a few principles that will help you to be more in-tune with your body and health, and those extra pounds will all but look after themselves.

Recipe Preparation Times
While most of the meals in the recipe book are vary greatly in preparation and cooking time from as little as 1-2 minutes for a dip or dressing, to 10 minutes – 1 hour for snacks/appetizers, to between 15 minutes – several hours for main meals.
If you’re rushed for time, the bonus material “15 meals in 50 minutes” will be well worth your time. This fantastic video and recipe guide was prepared by Flavia in conjunction with professional chef Amy Stoddart and really capitalizes on using the same ingredients in many ways for maximum efficiency and to really save time.
Set aside just one hour on one of the days of the week and you can have multiple meals prepped for the days ahead – fantastic, in my opinion!
There are 150 delicious recipes in Flavilicious Cooking that will have you surprising guests and family members for a long time. Breakfasts, Mains, Sides, Deserts and more are all covered.
I particularly like the Dressings & Sauces section, as commercially available dressings are both expensive and can hide a lot of hidden nasties such as preservatives and colorings. Making your own is an excellent alternative!
As mentioned previously, each recipe is tagged with Flavia’s easy-to-read labeling system and hyperlinked to allow you to jump to that particular page at the click of a button.
The Recipes Themselves
Fantastic. There is such a massive variety of recipes in this book, and the part I love the most is that you can pick any one of them and know that it’s a healthy option (yes, this even applies to the desserts!).
