Did you know that you can actually get jeans that make your butt look bigger? I didn’t either, but whoever invented these is an absolute mastermind.

Jeans are a wardrobe staple, and a well-fitting pair of jeans can make a butt look super sexy! On the other hand, a poor-fitting pair of jeans can transform your booty into a drab, shabby version of its true self (depending on the severity of your fashion crime, unfortunately even an absolutely glorious butt can be relegated to the slums of saggy-jean-town).

Bad Jeans Can Ruin Your Booty

A pair of loose-fitting, heavy and stiff denim jeans with big straight rear pockets and a straight up-and-down cut can detract from even the most womanly of figures.

Another mistake some people make with jeans (I know I’ve been guilty of this one multiple times), is out-wearing them. That favorite pair of jeans that are totally flattering your butt, unfortunately always seem to have an expiry date.

Often times I’ll keep wearing mine for months after they have obviously stretched out (in full denial that my favorite pair of jeans are dying, no doubt), and it’s not until I catch a peek at myself in a mirror while out and about that I suddenly realize that all that’s left in the rear end of these jeans is saggy, overstretched material where my awesome ass used to be showcased. Which clearly does NOT make for a good looking butt.

Okay, so a pair of ill-fitting jeans can make a butt, even a good butt, look bad…

But, now for the good news…

Did you know it also can go the other way round? A good pair of jeans can make an average or small butt look bigger and better!

It hasn’t always been like this, but thanks to the wonders of technology and modern day science… Finally! A pair of specialist butt-lifting jeans can make your butt look bigger, perkier and more round! Oh, happy days!

The Proof is in the Pudding

I know what you’re thinking, this is just another marketing gimmick. I thought so too at first, but these pics converted me:

So, How Do These Fantastic, Magical ‘Bigger Butt’ Jeans Work?

Creating the illusion of a bigger butt in jeans is nothing new, and if you’ve done any amount of trying on of different styles of jeans then you may have already noticed that some just seem to make your butt look better than others. Why is this so?

The secret is in drawing the eyes towards features of your body that are flattering, and downplaying other less-attractive areas.

Here are just a few tips that tend to make your butt appear bigger, that you will see these type of jeans employ:

  • Heart shaped seams, to enhance the natural curves and create the illusion of two round and bubbly butt cheeks.
  • Smaller rear pockets, centered on the fullest part of the butt.
  • Slightly angled inward rear pockets, to create the illusion of fullness in the butt.
  • Detailed stitching/embellishment – strategically placed, to draw the eyes to the butt in all the right places.
  • Stretchy material, to create the illusion of a bigger butt that expands out and stretches the seat of your jeans.
  • Fading, used in appropriate places to create an illusion of a bigger butt.

I explained exactly how these design features work in my article on choosing jeans with features that make your butt look great. Understanding these well will help you buy jeans that flatter your butt every time.

These clever design tricks work so well, you can clearly see a noticeable difference from the before and after pictures taken from the CTV News Vancouver video feature on this retailer (see the full article here).

Where to Get Butt-Lifting/Push-Up Jeans

Thanks to the increasing popularity of having a nice booty, manufacturers and clothing designers are finally starting to offer jeans that actually flatter butts, instead of flattening them.

I still get annoyed though, because now that I know what design features jeans should have to flatter my butt, it’s still pretty difficult to find them in stores! This can someitmes mean it’s easier to shop online.

As an example, I remember going to a Levi’s store when I was shopping for my last pair of jeans, and being absolutely surprised at the global lack of butt-flattering designs. (Luckily I did end up finding some in the clearance rack – I have no idea why that design wasn’t in the latest season offering, as it was the only one I could find with decent booty-flattering features!). Other shops I was looking in at the time had all the wrong designs, that I just know would not have been flattering on.

So now, some of the best places I have seen butt lifting jeans online are:

Shop Butt Lifting Jeans at Feel Foxy

Feel Foxy not only stock specialist butt-lifting jeans, they also are professionals in booty sculpting (as anyone who’s ever browsed their butt padded panties selection may know). This means they know what they’re doing when it comes to jeans that enhance your butt.

Feel Foxy’s Donna Butt Boost Jeans boost your butt and show that when it comes to rear pockets, sometimes less is more.

Feel Foxy’s Indra Butt Lift Jeans 2009 create a bubbly rounded look through clever curved seams and darts.
These Sara Butt Boost Jeans from Feel Foxy have cute pockets that also serve to create the illusion of a bigger butt.

These are just some examples of magic butt- boosting denim from Feel Foxy. This company knows how to flatter a girl’s butt, so be sure to check out their full range of butt boosting designs here.

Amazon

Another easy place to find butt boosting jeans is Amazon. I have hesitated to recommend this in the past, but since I found out that Freddy now offers their WR.UP range of butt shaping pants on Amazon, I realized that it’s starting to be a place where there are options to shop for butt-shaping jeans.

Bear in mind that some people might find Freddy’s WR.UP range to be a bit too busy in the rear area (it’s to draw attention to your fabulous booty of course!), but still, I’ve heard they are like magic for your buns (provided you have some junk in the trunk to work with that is – in my opinion Freddy WR.up’s unfortunately don’t work too well on a flat butt).

If you’re after something a little more toned down yet still butt-boostingly fabulous, then cheaper options can be found in the following brands which you can also shop on Amazon:

Curvify jeans utilize a unique spandex in their design that both lifts and shapes your booty in all the right places.

[amazon_link asins=’B0785HG7C1,B076FBWHPP’ template=’ProductCarousel’ store=’thebetbutcha-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’d54c27ad-13bb-11e8-bc73-1d3636ae9a12′]

Fashion2Love is also another brand with some cheaper but well rated butt-lifting jeans that can really make your booty pop.

[amazon_link asins=’B00SYVFMBE,B01E0ICVWM’ template=’ProductCarousel’ store=’thebetbutcha-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’9ec0f33b-13ba-11e8-9bfb-c93089eb3b9f’]

LatyRose are another more affordable brand that also do lifting jeans that will make your butt look its best.

[amazon_link asins=’B01M1SQ5HX,B078NGKYZR’ template=’ProductCarousel’ store=’thebetbutcha-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’e3799159-13ba-11e8-b162-3d48bae649db’]

The beauty of online shopping is that you can now find flattering jeans and order them straight from the comfort of your own home without having to trudge around trying to find out if shops even sell those kind of designs!

A Word of Caution

When shopping for jeans online, as always, be aware of inferior products which may not age well. Because you can’t really feel the product beforehand it can be a gamble when it comes to knowing what you’re buying.

For example, those which may lose their stretch after just several months of wear. Definitely check product reviews if available to get a heads up on issues like these, and if you’re worried, make sure there’s a decent returns policy.

While it’s inevitable that all stretchy jeans will eventually lose their elasticity, you would expect the more high-quality products to give you a longer lasting wear and years of good use, if you follow the garment’s care instructions correctly.

jeans for butts
Is it just me, or do some of these jean designs make it look like the models have flat butts? I can already see some no-no’s in the designs that cut the butt-enhancing potential short. What a shame..

Want to Make the Illusion Real?

The only problem that I can see with these jeans is that the effects are unfortunately short-lived, much like butt enhancing underwear. While these jeans don’t utilize any form of padding, unfortunately the illusion does go away when you take them off.

You don’t have to settle for just making your butt appear bigger temporarily though, you can actually have the real deal with a little hard work!

By targeting your butt muscles with specific and effective glute exercises, you can encourage the muscles to increase in size, giving you a tighter, rounder butt. A pleasant side effect of this is that it will be more lifted and defined as well.

Want a workout program specifically designed to increase the size of your butt? Then you may be interested in my review of the ‘Gluteus to the Maximus’ program or my review of the Bigger Better Butt program.

What do you think of these butt-lift jeans? Are you as impressed as I am at the results you can get from them?

Forgive me for being blunt, but I love looking at ladies butts. It’s not a nasty thing, it’s more of an exercise in appreciation. The curves, the shape, the lines…
And, while I love larger butts more, it’s only because they tend to be more SHAPELY in general.
I think that’s what us guys like to see most: Shapely.
It always amazes and disappoints me to see women wearing what my mom used to call “droopy drawers”. Sagging, loosely fitting pants that do nothing to speak to a woman’s natural, beautiful shape.
I get it, though. If you’re not happy with your body, you will do all you can to hide it and make it look shapeLESS. Usually by wearing oversized sweaters and “droopy drawers”. But, then you deny other people who ARE happy with your body the chance to appreciate and encourage you.
Or, maybe you’re just unaware that people are actually looking at you from behind. Maybe it’s more complicated than that.
Anyway, I’m so glad to read that there are jeans designed to highlight your natural curves in a way that can be appreciated.
And, I hope this post does more to spread the word. Because every butt can be beautiful, if you just give it a chance to shine! 🙂

I’m sure your comments are echoed by many men Scott! I agree with you about the ‘exercise in appreciation’, hahah. There’s just something captivating about a good, shapely butt.

Thanks for sharing your point of view, hopefully others will take this on board, I know a lot of women (myself included) might have a hard time believing that others might be appreciating features of our bodies that we might try to otherwise hide! It’s very encouraging to hear this from an independent third party. Cheers!

Those jeans look crazy! I do actually need more jeans so may have to check these out. However I’m short so I wonder if I’d look all out of proportion with a bubble butt? The website looks great though and the product photos certainly sell the jeans in all their glory.

These kind of jeans just enhance your natural curves, so you wouldn’t need to worry about looking out of proportion with some ridiculous looking huge butt! There’s no padding or anything involved, just a few flattering tricks that draw the eyes to better places. Hi Sarah,
You sound a bit like me! The trick is to work with what you’ve got. So you may be skinny, but I’m sure you have some semblance of a butt. Work out what kind of styles/cuts/colors/stitching patterns flatter your shape the most (check out the link in my reply to the comment above if you haven’t already – so you can pick these kind of jeans out yourself!).

Just be sure to keep your expectations realistic and be aware that some products use models who already have an amazing bigger butt to model their product – so of course if you don’t have as much ‘junk in the trunk’ then you may not look exactly the same wearing these! You should still notice a good difference though, as the styles are specially designed to be super flattering and enhancing.

While these kind of jeans don’t actually make your butt bigger, they can help draw attention to the curves you do have, which can definitely give the illusion that you are more curvy than you are. Especially compared to how your butt would look in a pair of unflattering jeans.

Now what is interesting about your area of interest, is that the actual product is or at least appears to be a normal pair of ladies jeans.

The way that they are cut and designed are unique as I can clearly see. I is better to wear clothing that fits naturally than something that is added and has the potential to fail.

Yep, that’s one of the main appeals of these jeans – they are no different to any other jeans! There’s no padding or anything else, just some ingenious stitching and tricks of illusion 🙂

How sad that we have to constantly try to mold ourselves to what is “sexy” today… It sure makes me feel worthless that my butt is not “sexy”… This society has rendered women’s worth to the sum of their body parts… We are never good enough just the way we are. Frankly it’s only getting worse lately. Watch a video or movie from the 80s or 90s and see how much more “real” the women looked. And their bodies didn’t have to be constantly on display for the judgement of all….I’m so tired of it all!

Hi Claudia, Thanks for your thoughts! You are so right, it is a bit sad that this is what society and marketing has made us into. It can be really hard to try and rise above all the hype and expectations. I think a lot of it comes down to motivations; if you are working on your body because YOU want to and you want to look and feel good for YOU (not just because society demands it) then you are on the right track. At the end of the day I really think it comes down to learning to love the skin you’re in, and working with your body rather than against it!

How I totally agree Claudia. So sad to focus on oneself instead of giving to others…our children, grandchildren, friends and significant others. I’m sure they could care less what size our arse is and instead choose to love us for the company and love we gove.

      Hey Kylie! (And Merry Christmas!)

Being skinny doesn’t mean you can’t show off what you’ve got. The right kind of jeans should definitely help too! Check out my post on features of jeans that will flatter your butt to get a good idea of what to look out for when shopping for jeans!

In my experience, even some of the big name brands get it so wrong… so I think that it’s better to just consider the design of each pair of jeans on its own to determine if it’s going to flatter your butt or just make you look flatter.

      Here are some examples:

      1) These Miss Me jeans are not bad, and the decorated rear pockets will attract attention to your butt, but I think that the pockets are too large and make the model’s butt look a bit flat. The “yoke seam” (triangle shape just below the waistband) looks a little curved which is better than being straight, but it is also a little too low in my opinion; it makes her butt look like it just starts from that point halfway down.

      2) These Dsquared2 Cool Girl jeans are a big ‘NO’ in my book! The straight yoke seam flattens the butt and is again too low down. A curved yoke seam that sits near the top of one’s butt does wonders to make it look bigger and more round. The big pockets are too large and they also sit too low – they’re halfway down her butt. Smaller pockets that side on the most full part of your butt cheeks work better for flattering your butt in my opinion.

Hope these examples help! Check out some of the butt lifting jeans I’ve linked in this article for more ‘good’ examples of flattering jeans too – you learn to get an eye for it once you know what you’re looking for! Of course, nothing beats trying a few pairs on to see if they make your butt look good or not, so that can be good practice too!

Well there’s always that; I hadn’t even thought about doubling up on shorts but it would totally work!! (probably not the most comfortable though)! Check out the article I wrote on butt padded underwear – these are purpose-built to boost your butt and since they’re designed as underwear, they won’t feel uncomfortable under jeans, shorts or anything else!
