Happy New Year everyone!

It’s now one whole week into 2016, and if you’re like me, things are probably starting to get back running after (a hopefully not-too-naughty) holiday season. I hope you all had a great time with family and friends.

No more Christmas dinners until next year, so I hope yours was deliciously decadent!

Resolution Time!

Have you made any New Year Resolutions? Last year, I wrote about some of the best healthy new year resolutions.

It’s a year later now, but when I look over this list, I have to say that my resolutions this year are in the same line again! Sure, I slipped up a few times in 2015 and there were times where I stopped being motivated to exercise and eat healthily, but I’m not going to dwell on it. Instead, I’m going to focus my efforts on setting healthy habits – like trying to do just a little bit of exercise every day.

One of the big factors to do with following through on resolutions is motivation. If you’re just not feeling it, make sure you take the time to figure out how to get inspired again, as you’ll be much more effective this way.

And of course, take the time to write down your goals for this year. Call me nerdy, but I really love getting a nice new notepad and taking the time to jot down with the day’s date what I’d like to achieve in the next 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. When I look back over my notes from a future date, it’s always interesting to see which ones I have met!

Oh.. and if you need any more motivation, you can find some suitable butt inspiration here!

I know it’s winter now, but it’s summer is around the corner and we all know that means bikinis, so the time to start your exercise is now (plus it will help you to keep warm on those cold days and nights!).

Here’s wishing everyone a prosperous and fulfilling 2016.

One of my goals for this year!
